A Poetic Mess

Oh, Destiny

I’m crawling through the caves.
Cracks and crevices later, I arise at a point I know will be difficult to retrace.
Do I do it?
Oh, destiny, would you please make your point clear?

Can You See Sky at Night?

Can you see the sky at night?
It’s murky to my eyes.
Where does one wish, if not towards it?
I say, “not I, not I.”

Fun Times

I taste the rum, a tad bit sweet.
“This bar is nice,” I say to myself.
l believe I’ll stay awhile.”
A glass or twelve later, and I’ve accomplished the mission.

How did I accomplish such a feat?
The trick is to use different bartenders.
And always order neat.

Poetry I’m Not Sure How to Categorize

“Oh no,” he said with glazed eyes.
“What do I do with this?”
Just trash it all, his thoughts demand.

“Your poetry is shit.”

But why? Again?
It’s been some months…, we cannot keep this up!
“If I am not succeeding here, then failure is enough.
